Boarding FAQ

What do I need to provide for my dog’s first boarding stay at Beverly’s? 🐾
  • Vaccination Records – Proof of Bordetella (kennel cough), Rabies, and Distemper vaccines. Both 1-year and 3-year vaccines are accepted, as long as they are current. Although not required, we recommend keeping your pet on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention as a standard practice. Beverly’s Pet Resort is not responsible or liable for any illness, parasites, or conditions that may be contracted during your dog’s stay.
  • Dog’s Age – Dogs must be at least 16 weeks old.
  • Completed Paperwork – Client registration forms and signed Service Agreement (can be filled out online through our booking portal or at drop-off).
  • Food & Treats Please bring your dog’s regular food to avoid tummy troubles. You can send food in a small, sealed container or pre-portioned baggies — but please, no 40 lb. bags. Treats and toys from home are always welcome, too! We will provide our food if you don’t. Want to spoil your pup a little extra? Check out our Pupgrades Menu for special add-ons during their stay.
  • Optional Comfort Item: A favorite toy from home is fine, but no need to pack bedding — every pup gets a fresh, cozy set provided by us.
  • Emergency Contact Info: A cell phone number or alternate contact so we can reach you while you’re away in case of an emergency.
  • Veterinary Contact Info: The name and phone number of your general practicing Veterinary in case of an emergency. Please inform your veterinarian of any upcoming stays with us.
What services do you provide? 🐾

At Beverly’s, we’re more than just a boarding facility. We specialize in personalized, one-on-one pet care tailored to your dog’s needs. Whether your pup is here for overnight boarding, daytime play, or training reinforcement, our facility is designed with dogs in mind: safe, spacious, and supervised around the clock.

Every dog in our care follows a structured daily routine with multiple outdoor breaks for exercise, potty time, and stress relief, all included in your flat daily rate. We offer four personalized care packages, so you can decide exactly how much interaction, play, and enrichment your dog receives, based on their needs, and your budget.

Check out our Pupgrades Menu for optional add-ons like meal toppers, additional treats, medication dispensing, and private play sessions.

What happens if my dog gets sick or needs medical care? 🐾

Your dog’s health and safety are our top priority. All Beverly’s staff are trained in canine first-aid and CPR, and we work closely with trusted local veterinarians, including 24/7 emergency animal hospitals and telemedicine partners for minor concerns.

If your pup shows signs of illness (such as diarrhea or unusual behavior), we:

  • Monitor closely and keep them clean and comfortable.
  • Contact you or your emergency contact right away.
  • If veterinary care is needed, we’ll transport your dog to your preferred vet (if nearby) or to our local partner, Parkside Animal Hospital.
  • After-hours emergencies are also handled through Parkside’s 24/7 facility.

Rest assured — if we can’t reach you immediately, we’ll treat your pup as if they were our own and get them the care they need without delay.

What should I pack for my dog attending daycare? 🐾

For most pups, you don’t need to bring a thing! Unless your dog requires meals, medication, or special care at lunchtime, please leave toys, bedding, and extras at home — we’ve got everything they’ll need for a safe, fun day.

All daycare guests must also be current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations (1-year or 3-year accepted) and be at least 16 weeks old. Proof of vaccination is required before your dog’s first visit.

Where does my dog take potty breaks? 🐾

At Beverly’s, dogs enjoy 22 spacious outdoor exercise yards, all designed with pea gravel for safety and cleanliness. Pea gravel is gentle on paws, prevents muddy messes, and is easy to sanitize, keeping potty areas fresh and comfortable.

Each yard is approximately 20’ x 20’ giving every pup plenty of room to stretch, play, and take care of business in a clean, structured environment. Our staff maintain the yards throughout the day to ensure they stay sanitary and safe.

What if my dog isn’t social or doesn’t get along well with other dogs? 🐾

Not every pup is a social butterfly and that’s okay! At Beverly’s, we specialize in personalized pet care with multiple boarding and daycare packages, plus optional Pupgrades, so every dog has a stay that’s custom-fit to their needs and comfort level.

For dogs who prefer people over playgroups, we offer a special package designed for independent or “antisocial” pups: our Glacier Park package. They’ll still enjoy plenty of exercise, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention from our staff — just without the stress of group play.

Our goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay, no matter their personality.

What if I have multiple dogs? 🐾

We’re happy to keep your dogs together if that makes them most comfortable. We house no more than 3 dogs per household in one run. This ensures everyone has enough space, attention, and comfort.

Our goal is always to balance comfort, safety, and individual care so that every dog, whether they stay with a sibling or on their own — has the best possible experience.
